Pool Winterization Service Includes The Following: Please Read Below For Important Info and Add On Services
Blow Out All Plumbing Lines & Plug
Air Lock Main Drain (if equipped)
Remove Handrail and Ladder
Add 1qt Winter Algaecide and 2lb Chorine Shock
Remove Equipment Drain Plugs (these will be stored inside pump basket after)
Install Safety Mesh Winter Cover (if applicable)
Basic Winterization Service DOES NOT include cleaning or lowering water (See below)

THE DAY BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED CLOSING, LOWER POOLS 2" BELOW SKIMMER OPENING. IF NOT LOWERED WE WILL CHARGE AN ADDITIONAL $100 FOR WAIT TIME WHILE LOWERING. LEAVE AUTO COVER OPEN AFTER LOWERING (if applicable)
ADD ON ITEMS: Request during checkout and we will invoice separate
Pool Cleaning vacuuming/brushing $175 per hour additional
Repairs $175 per hour
Salt Water Cell Cleaning $65

If your winterizing plugs & skimmer blow outs (blue tubes) are not left out and accessible at the time of your scheduled closing (We can provide for additional cost)
If your winterizing plugs & skimmer blow outs are damaged and deemed not suitable to use (We can provide at additional cost)
If your winterizing plugs or water feature caps are not manufacturer recommended and deemed not suitable to use (You’ll be charged an additional cost)
If your pool is not drained prior to your scheduled closing (You’ll be charged an additional cost) **SEE ABOVE IF YOU WOULD LIKE DPS TO DRAIN IT FOR YOU**
If your pool is not drained prior to your scheduled closing, you will be charged.**SEE “add on items” above if you would like us to drain your pool for you.** ~ All prices are subject to a 30-mile radius from Springfield and include sales tax. Any additional antifreeze for water features, deck jets, or fountains will be billed at $8.99 per gallon plus tax. Winterization chemicals are 1-quart algaecide, & 2 pounds shock. Please remove all chlorine tablets from chlorine feeders or skimmers prior to closing. The tablets can be corrosive to equipment during the off-season. DPS follows manufacturers’ recommendations by not removing underwater pool lights.
Any additional requests above and beyond what is stated in the Closing form are subject to our labor rate of $175/hour
